What the Calculator Shows
Pick a Start date (it starts on today) and an End date, then press Calculate. The first line of the result is the direct answer, for example "The gap between January 1, 2026 and January 1, 2027 is 365 days." Below it, the same period is shown in every unit you are likely to need.
For January 1, 2026 to January 1, 2027 the table reads:
| Row | Value |
|---|---|
| Years, months and days | 1 year, 0 months and 0 days |
| Total days | 365 |
| Weeks and days | 52 weeks and 1 day |
| Business days | 261 |
| Weekend days | 104 |
| Total hours | 8,760 |
| Total minutes | 525,600 |
Years, months and days is the calendar view of the gap, the way you would say "one year and two months". Total days is the flat count. Weeks and days splits the total into full weeks and the days left over, which is handy for pregnancy timelines, training plans and project sprints. Business days and Weekend days always add up to the total days. Total hours and Total minutes are the total days multiplied by 24 and 1,440.
If you tick Count business days only, the headline changes to the number of working days, for example "Business days between January 1, 2026 and January 1, 2027: 261". The full table stays below it. Every row can be copied, and the whole table exports as CSV, XLSX, PDF or an image.
